new update

My time has not been consumed thinking about photography lately. The upcoming project does not sound appealing to me what so ever. i have a feeling i am going to have a tough time completing it. Lawler always tells me i do better when i connect with my project, which is true, butin reality i think i only complete my project if i can connect with it. hopefully in the project after this nect one i can use my brother and his story for my project. He is what is consuming all of my time right now.

Six-day weekend

First semester is finally over and unfortunately i did not do so well ina couple of my classes. I am determined to change all of that this semester, Starting with my capstone project. I liked the idea of live laugh love so i tried to work with it. Since the capstone had to be made of three different elements of art it was a bit of a challenge, but i think it turned out okay. The project before the capstone was the surrealism project, which i had fun creating. i still want to finish it off even if it doesnt count for a grade because i have an idea in my head that i just didnt have enough time to run with. Ill post some of my project up later this week. Have a great day :)

back from break

Winter break had its ups and downs. As i returned to class i was reminded of the projects that are due sooner than i was hoping. I have mixture of feelings about them both. i am excited and stressed about both. The surrealism project should turn out really neat if i push myslef to at least get it done. As for the capstone project i am still stuck on which forms of art i am going to create and put together to present as one. i know i am going to take picutes and most likely create some sort of design on photoshop but im not sure what i am going to do for the third element, possibly a sculpture or painting? I am stuck!

"A case of the Mondays"

Our next project will require lots of editing so I am not looking forward to it much at all. However, after seeing some of Lawler’s examples I am a tad excited to see how everyone’s turns out. It actually sounds like it will be a somewhat creepy project, everything being all distorted and not normal and all. Lawler commented that my projects usually turn out better when I take pictures of things I can connect to or rather take pictures of things I see fit rather than just taking pictures and trying to make them fit. It definitely makes sense but lately I am having a hard time connecting to anything. I plan on taking pictures all this week so we will see how this turns out 
